We have finished the publications for Blackberry US, Canada- English, Canada- French and Australia. All four of the magazines went to print and look great! On the Blackberry publications I worked as a retoucher for app icons and screenshots. It was my job to convert the images from RGB to CMYK, change the resolution to 300dpi, and edit the images to enhance the quality.
The T-Mobile magazine just went to print as well. I played a much bigger role in the design concept and layout for the T-Mobile publication. I was even given the title of Assistant Creative Director. I designed a few 1 page stories, as well as a 6 page spread about an up and coming hip-hop artist.
We are still working on the Microsoft Health Benefits magazine. I am continuing to work remotely and am assisting as much as possible from here in Connecticut. I also earned the title of Assistant Creative Director for this publication due to my level of creative contribution. I designed the logo around which the campaign is based. I also designed several of the page layouts and a few different cover options.
Although my school internship requirement of 120 hours has long been met, I have been given the opportunity to continue working for Gubbins Light & Power Company remotely throughout the school year. This has been such a great opportunity, and I look forward to my continued growth in this company.
